The University of the Philippines College of Law conducted an orientation to aspiring lawyers who wish to lake the Law Aptitude Exam (LAE) on January 24, 2020. Atty. Emerson S. Bañez, faculty member of the College, gave the participants insights and tips on how to pass the LAE. An Iloilo-based alumna Atty. Kristine Alobba also encouraged the participants by sharing bits of her experiences while fulfilling her Law degree.
TACLOBAN CITY—The Sinirangan Chamber Singers in collaboration with the Leyte Samar Heritage Center (LSHC) of the University of the Philippines Visayas Tacloban College (UPVTC) celebrated love month and the National Arts month through a choral concert entitled, “Feb-Ibig na Naman, Sana All!” last February 9, 2020 at the 3rd floor Library Building of UPVTC, Tacloban City, Leyte. The activity also served as the official anniversary presentation of the Sinirangan Chamber Singers.

The University of the Philippines Visayas project team turned over the Management Information System for Comprehensive Development Plan (MIS for CDP) to the Dept. of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on January 31, 2020 at Smalville21 Hotel, Iloilo City. The MIS is part of the DILG-funded “SUC-Assisted Approach in CDP Formulation Project” which is implemented with twenty (20) partner Local Government Units (LGUs) in Region 6. The UPV Project Team is under the Office of Continuing Education and Pahinungod (OCEP).
