Heads and Administrative Officers (AOs) of the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) offices and units attended the Town Hall Meeting: Rollout of Process Improvement Initiatives at the CFOS AV Hall on May 7, organized by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Administration.

The National Consortium for Small-Scale Fisheries Research and Development or Too-Big-To-Ignore (TBTI) Philippines was represented in the Small-Scale Fisheries (SSF) Regional Symposium for Asia-Pacific from April 9-12, 2024 in Shimizu, Shizuoka, Japan. The theme of the symposium was “Bright Spots ~ Hope Spots.”

Administrators and key personnel of the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) attended a two-day workshop titled “Ang Pagpasangkad: A Training-Workshop on Crisis Management” organized by the UPV Crisis Management Committee (UPV CMC) headed by Mr. Aljohn T. Torreta from 2-3 May 2024 at Hotel Del Rio.

From April 27 to 28, the UPV Little Theater became an avenue for creativity as fourth-year BSBA Marketing students of the University of the Philippines (UPV), under the advisorship of Asst. Prof. Maria Theresa Albaña, led participating students and professionals on a journey of discovery with ADCON 2024. Driven by the theme “LikhAdvertising: Behind the Artistic Scenes of Creative Marketing,” the conference put a spotlight on art and culture as forces that can inspire impactful campaigns.

The Office of the University Registrar of the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) conducted a two-day Operations Review and Planning Workshop from 27-28 April 2024 at the Jardeleza Sea Garden Resort, Inc. at Leganes, Iloilo. The resource persons and workshop facilitators were Asst Prof. John Lorenz Belanio, Asst. Prof. Frediezel De Leon, and Ms. Mary Ann Sedero, faculty members of the UPV College Management.
