The College of Arts and Sciences, University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV-CAS) opened its CAS Forest Hut on April 29 as an additional learning space for the College.

The University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) Teaching and Learning Resource Center (TLRC) is celebrating its 27th anniversary with a three-day series of activities, including an opening program held on 22 April 2024, open house, and pasalamat. Its anniversary theme is “Making Waves, Dreaming Better.”

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Planning and Development of the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) organized a two-day workshop on the preparation and review of the Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) and Office Performance Commitment and Review (OPCR) of colleges and units from 25-26 April 2024 at the Training Rooms of GCEB at the Iloilo City campus.

The University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) Coastline Protection and Development Program, under its Program Leader Engr. Ramer P. Bautista, PhD, held the Mindanao Regional Stakeholders Dialogue from 17-18 April 2024 at Hotel del Rio, which is directed towards Capacity Building, Policy Review, and Innovative Legislation Towards Coastline Protection and Development for a Sustainable Future.

To culminate the celebration of Women’s Month, the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) Gender and Development Program (GDP), in partnership with the Ugsad Regional Gender Resource Network, organized a forum on “Strengthening Family Connections for Mental Well-Being” on March 21, 2024. The event was held at the UPV Little Theater, Iloilo City campus.
