Three projects assisted by CAS COP-BIDANI were presented at the 4th Colleges, and Universities Public Service Conference (CUPSCon 4) held last October 21-22, 2021, via Zoom. The projects are ACTI(on) Research Project (Assistance, Collaboration, Training, and Other Interventions on [ACTIon] Research Project), the Municipal Health System Strengthening Program, and the TEACH DRR Project (Bridge Phase).

Asst. A coordination meeting among UPV and LGU officials, donors, Office of Deputy Speaker Legarda, UP Pandan-based Alumni, and other stakeholders was conducted in Pandan, Antique, on October 27, 2021. This was done to establish a strong collaborative partnership with the host municipality and discuss plans for the UPV Extension Campus in Antique. A Memorandum of Agreement was proposed to institutionalize the collaboration between these participating entities.

In relation to its continued webinars and upskilling programs for faculty members on the use of the Learning Management System, last August 19, 2021, TLRC conducted “sana oL May high Score” training that delved into the utilization of the LMS gradebook in order for teachers to provide an efficient and systematic feedback system for assignments and other requirements of students.

To enrich the remote learning environment in UP Visayas, the Teaching and Learning Resource Center facilitated training for three non-consecutive days on online teaching principles and applications under its Teach S.M.A.R.T. (Strategies, Methods, Approaches, Rudiments, and Theories) program.
Feared by most people, revered in some cultures, snakes are seen as fascinating and fearsome creatures. In the sprawling, forested campus of UP Visayas in Miagao, snake sightings are a common experience, along with sightings of monitor lizards, geckos, and all sorts of wildlife.
