Eighty-eight DepEd teachers from the twenty-two districts of the province of Antique have completed six sessions for the Cultural Mapping of the Province of Antique Project, including the final session on “Personalities and Institutions Domain” by Ms. Ricamela Palis of Artist PAR, Inc. This final training was held at Hotel Kinaray-a, San Jose de Buenavista, Antique, last March 06, 2021.

Get people involved to fight disinfo

Capping off the three-day national conference on democracy and disinformation held via Zoom on February 26, veteran human rights lawyer and Free Legal Assistance Group (FLAG) chairperson, Atty. Chel Diokno shared that one of the ways in fighting disinformation and preserving democracy is to get people involved. 

As new members of the University of the Philippines (UP), newly-hired faculty members and Research, Extension and Professional Staff (REPS) of the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences (CFOS) were introduced to essential policies, procedures, standards, and programs that govern all UP constituents.

A group of concerned citizens composed of UPV alumni, medical practitioners, and private individuals launched Bakuna Iloilo through a press briefing at the UPV Iloilo City campus on March 8, 2021, to raise awareness about the Covid-19 vaccine.

Filmmaker and UPV professor, Kevin Pison Piamonte initiated two exclusive film previews on March 1 and 3 for his upcoming film project, which dares to make a statement in the midst of the human rights violations issues we face today.
