Prof. Jonevee Amparo presented a paper at the 18th NAKEM Conference at the Double Tree by Hilton in Fremont California on November 15 to 17, 2023 with this year’s theme: Herstories' And 'Histories' of Diversity: Narrating (Im)Migrant and Multiple Lives and Engaging the Community in The Margins.

Innovation fellows from the various constituent units of the University of the Philippines (UP) delivered their pitch presentations at the University Innovation Fellowship (UIF) for Food and Sustainability culminating activity held in Iloilo City on Nov. 22.

Thirty-six UP High School in Iloilo (UPHSI) Senior High School students from the STEM strand and five members of the UPHSI faculty have been identified as participants in the Shell NXplorers Workshop, scheduled from 22-24 November 2023 at the UPV GCEB Training Rooms. Seventeen students are from Grade 11 STEM, while 19 are from the Grade 12 STEM class.

UP Visayas (UPV) and Xiamen University (XMU), China signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote mutual academic cooperation and exchanges between the two higher education institutions.
