Dr. Alicia P. Magos, UPV Professor Emeritus and anthropologist, leads cultural researchers from UP Visayas in various engagement conferences to deliver lectures and share research results on Panay culture as well as in extension activities during this 1st quarter of 2021.
A collaborative research paper entitled, “Impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic to the Livelihood and Well-being of Artisanal Fishing Communities in the province of Aklan, Western Visayas, Philippines,” won 2nd place in the National Academy of Science and Technology Digital Poster Session of the Visayas Regional Scientific Meeting. The awarding ceremony was held online on April 14, 2021.
