Asst. Prof. Louise Annette B. Escoto was appointed the new Dean of the College of Management by the UP Board of Regents during its 1359th meeting held on March 25, 2021. Dean Escoto’s term begins on April 6, 2021, until April 5, 2024.
Escoto is a faculty member of the College of Management with specialization in the following fields: Organization and management, strategic planning, project development and management, and public administration and local government administration
She is a candidate for the Doctor of Public Administration, UP Diliman – NCPAG. She finished her Master of Management (Public Management) from UP Visayas in 1993 and her Bachelor of Science in Fisheries from UP College of Fisheries in 1982.
She was Vice-Chancellor for Administration at UP Visayas from 2008 to 2011 and has held the following posts: Executive Director, University of the Philippines Visayas Foundation, Inc. (January 2012-April 2018) and Chair of the Department of Management, College of Management (June 2000-May 2003 and June 2006-October 2008) and (January 16, 2018 until April 5, 2021).
