In the occasion of the 15th founding anniversary of the Zuellig Family Foundation, UPV and eight other academic partners were recognized for their significant contribution in the health leadership and governance programs across all the regions of the Philippines. 

Three Bachelor of Arts in Psychology graduates of the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) ranked 9th in the August 2023 Psychometrician Licensure Examination. 

To advance the aim of bringing management concepts closer to communities, three students from the Junior Executive Society (JES), the flagship organization of BS in Management students of the College of Management, University of the Philippines Visayas, successfully clinched the Php 100,000 grant jointly presented by YouthLed PH, The Asia Foundation, USAID, and the Gerry Roxas Foundation for the organization’s Panubli initiative. 

Eminent social realist Antipas Delotavo donated an oil painting to the UPV Museum of Art and Cultural Heritage (MACH). The portrait done in 2010 was turned over to UPV on July 29, 2023.

As part of its continuing capacity-building activities for traffic enforcers, the Iloilo City Government invited speakers from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) for its workshop held at the UP Visayas Little Theater, Iloilo City campus on 09 August.

The UP High School in Iloilo initiated a ceremonial signing of deeds of donation with its alumni as part of the Adopt-a-Room project of UP Visayas on August 7, 2023 at the GCEB Training Room.
