The University of the Philippines Visayas, through its Gender and Development Program (GDP), together with Ugsad Regional Gender Resource Network, successfully celebrated the 2022 National Women’s Month last March. The lineup of activities revolved around the 2017-2022 theme, “We Make CHANGE Work for Women,” with this year’s sub-theme, “Agenda ng Kababaihan, Tungo sa Kaunlaran.” 

The University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV), UP Validus Amicitia Brotherhood, and various stakeholders from the academe, Iloilo City Tourism and Development Office, Philippine National Police, and private sector, took part in a beach clean-up at Villa Beach for Earth Day, April 22, 2022.

The Division of Professional Education (ProfEd) under the College of Arts and Sciences kicked off its three-day workshop of the MEd Curriculum Review and Development (CuReD) Phase 5 at the UPV Little Theater, Iloilo City Campus, on April 19, 2022.

University of the Philippines Visayas Chancellor Clement C. Camposano hosted a fellowship dinner for UP Law graduates based in Western Visayas last Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022. The recent 2020/2021 bar examinations passers Berne M. Facinal and Francine Beatrix Caram were recognized during the event held at the Performance Hall of the UPV Main Building.
