Primitivo Galan Jr., a BS Chemical Engineering III student of the UP Visayas School of Technology, qualified to be part of the Online Summer School of Kyungpook National University. KNU is one of the UP System's partner universities in South Korea.

The University of the Philippines Visayas through the Center for West Visayan Studies and the Iloilo City Government conducted the “Excavating the Hidden Stories of Iloilo City,” a webinar on the occasion of the 84th Charter Day of Iloilo City and the National History Month Celebration last August 31, 2021, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM via Zoom. UPV Chancellor Dr. Clement Camposano delivered the welcome remarks while Center for West Visayan Studies Director Dr. Randy Madrid provided the overview.

“These flexible learning materials will surely equip the faculty of the University of Antique to adapt to the new normal. Because Antique is a province largely located in a coastal area, strengthening the expertise of the province in fisheries will equip policymakers in crafting sustainable programs in the industry.”
