A necrological service and memorial service were organized by the UP Visayas Department of Physical Education as a tribute to Prof. Jocelyn Pacheco at Pidlaoan Hall, UP Visayas Miagao, Iloilo, on July 10, 2023.
The University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV), through the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences - Institute of Aquaculture (CFOS-IA), and Trading Room, Inc. signed a collaborative research agreement (CRA) for the project “Development of Immunoactive and Growth Promoting AquaFeed Additive from Ulva Seaweed,” (UPV-DOST Ulva Seaweed CRADLE Project) at the UPV Fisheries Technology and Business Incubator building, Miagao campus, on July 5.
This year’s graduates of the Training of Trainers (ToT) on Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management (EAFM) vowed to become people–smart and change agents for the cause of EAFM, an integrated management approach that promotes sustainable fisheries by balancing ecological and human well-being through good governance.
