The Aquatic Science 1 (People and the Aquatic World) and F175 (Community-Based Coastal Resource Management) classes of UPV College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences, in partnership with the UP Visayas Ugnayan ng Pahinungód/Oblation Corps (UP/OC), presented their class projects to selected schools and coastal barangays of Miagao, Iloilo on May 24-June 17, 2023.

Jimenez, who started his term as President on 10 February 2023, promising to transform UP into a “learner-centered digital university.” One of the notable directions in his vision paper is the transformation of UP into a “global university” and a research university heavily focused on academic linkages and graduate and post-graduate programs.
