The University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) Pahamapang 2024 is officially in the history books, and it concluded on April 27 with Ugyon coming out on top to repeat as overall champions.

The University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) Balay Balay Child Minding Center (BBCMC) conducted the Lagaw sa Pagsanyog, an observational study tour, on April 4, 2024. One hundred twenty five children, parents, guardians, and teachers joined the said activity.
The Cultural Mapping for Panay and Guimaras (CMPG) implemented by UP Visayas has extended to Negros Occidental upon the request of Senate President Pro Tempore Loren Legarda, the main initiator of the project and the principal author of the Cultural Mapping Law or RA 11961.
