Five teams from UPV were also included in the Top 24 National Semifinalists.

Reflecting on their journey, a member of Team TreMENdous shared, ”L'Oreal Brandstorm helped us appreciate the power of marketing, research, and innovation; turning concepts learned in the classroom into feasible and tech-driven ideas that bridge the needs of different consumers. In addition, the mentorship with L'Oreal enhanced our business acumen through an immersive yet fun learning experience, which boosted our skills and potential as future business leaders.” Their insights highlight the transformative power of real-world competitions in honing young marketers’ abilities and confidence.

Similarly, a representative from Team Alphabet expressed, ”L’Oréal Brandstorm not only sharpened our professional skills but also nurtured a strong sense of collaboration, as solving real-world challenges demanded shared effort, adaptability, and resilience. Through constant mentorship and open discussions, we learned to embrace and overcome setbacks, improve our ideas, and stay focused in a highly competitive and fast-paced setting. That said, representing our university in such a prestigious competition was both an honor and a profound source of pride, as it fueled us to do our best—knowing we carried not just our personal ambitions, but also the pride and spirit of our entire academic community”. Their experience stands as an inspiration for future generations of UPV students aiming to leave their own mark.

The teams were challenged to submit a 3-slide pitch project that must meet the criteria of being innovative, sustainable, inclusive, feasible, and scalable. There were a total of 21,400+ innovators comprising 5,800+ teams from 13 universities all over the country competing in this year’s Brandstorm.
