A presentation for the preservation of Handumanan Project for the preservation of two heritage structures at the Iloilo City campus was conducted through Zoom and face-to-face setup on February 9, 2022. 

Faculty members, research, extension, and professional staff (REPS), and administrative staff of the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences, UP Visayas (UPV-CFOS) convened for a two-day year-end review and strategic planning workshop on February 3 to 4, 2022 via Zoom. 

The University of the Philippines Visayas signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the UPV alumni groups for the donation and setting up of a solar grid at the UPV Iloilo City campus. Chancellor Clement C. Camposano signed the agreement with UP High School in Iloilo represented by the principal, Prof. Alfredo Diaz; iAmUPHi Alumni Association, Inc. (IAAI), represented through Zoom by its President and Chairman, Artemio P. Pama and Noel C. Litan, respectively; UP High School Iloilo Batch ‘80 Alumni represented by Jessraf S. Palmares; and One Renewable Energy Enterprise, Inc. (One Renewable) President and CEO, Erel B. Narida.

The University of the Philippines Visayas, through the Office of Continuing Education and Pahinungod (OCEP) conducted a half-day training on “Understanding Taxation for Micro-organizations and Entrepreneurs” at the Barotac Nuevo Public Market on January 27, 2022.

The Division of Physical Sciences and Mathematics' (DPSM) Public Service Committee organized a webinar entitled “Introduction to Biomarker Evaluation in Drug Discovery Studies” on January 24, 2022, via Zoom and was streamed live via Facebook. 

Critical information materials on COVID-19 were turned over to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and Department of Education District of Carles on February 4, 2022.
