TO: All Concerned Students Through the Office of Student Affairs

In view of the end of the Second Semester AY 2019-2020 on April 30, 2020, all students stranded at UPV dormitories or private boarding houses, in Miagao or Iloilo City, are hereby advised to prepare to go home.

The public health crisis brought about the COVID 19 pandemic and the stringent measures imposed by the national and local government caught everyone off guard, including academic institutions like UP Visayas.

Donations received by UPV and their recipients. Thank you Outreach Cluster, Logistics Group, Dorm Staff and Volunteers for facilitating.

TO: All Students at the Dormitories Through the Dorm Managers

UP Visayas, through the UPV Covid-19 Task Force, decided during its meeting on March 23, 2020 to expand its campaign for donations to support other primary constituents of the university, employees of outsourced service suppliers who remain committed to support UPV by continuing their services braving the risks, and members of the local community whose trades are seriously affected by the enhanced community quarantine. This move of the task force, however, has never diminished the commitment to prioritize our support for students who are stranded in UPV dormitories or in boarding houses outside the campus. This position is in keeping with our stature as part of the national university.
