Career Talk is an annual program of the Office of Student Affairs that aims to equip the university's graduating students with skills and advice for their journeys after graduation. With the advent of the current pandemic and increasing unemployment rates, the university opened the program to all who might need it through remote platforms.
The Office of Student Affairs held a two-day seminar-workshop on the office's role in establishing a quality assurance system in UPV using the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA). Prof. Steve P. Janagap, Chair of the UPV Academic Assessment and Development Committee, served as the speaker, while Ms. Roeyna May A. Famisaran acted as facilitator. The seminar was conducted last March 10 and 17, 2021, at the Audio-Visual Room of the Teaching and Learning Resource Center of the College of Arts and Sciences in UPV Miagao Campus. Attendee’s adhered to IATF protocols, while UPV Tacloban Campus joined through remote platforms.
