Mr. Michael Francis Villa of UP High School in Iloilo Class of 1991, together with some members of iAmUPHi, organized a bloodletting activity on May 27, 2023 at the UP Visayas covered court, Miagao campus.
Members of the 3rd Civil Military Operations Battalion, 61st Infantry Battalion, Philippine Coastguard, Bureau of Fire Protection, Miagao PNP, and the UPV ROTC were the blood donors.
The event was attended by organizers and sponsors, which included Ms. Irma Diaz-Lim. The Office of Alumni Relations Director, Prof. Rey Carlo Gonzales, was also in attendance. The OAR staff were also present and assisted in the facilitation of the bloodletting.
The beneficiaries of the activity are the faculty and staff of UPV, the alumni, as well as the institutions that sent blood donors.
