The UPV School of Technology (SOTECH) is among the Top 1 Performing Schools in the November 2024 Chemical Engineering Licensure Examination (ChELE) which was conducted last November 20 to 22, 2024.
The school recorded a 100% passing rate as 21 chemical engineers successfully clinched their respective licenses after the 3-day examination, which was held at different testing centers in the country. This rating placed the university on the Top 1 spot alongside UP Diliman and De La Salle University (DLSU). The national passing rate for the licensure examination is 72.34%.
This is the first time that UPV SOTECH was recognized as a Top 1 Performing School since the program’s inception. It achieved another height as they also ranked 3rd in the previous licensure examination held in May 2024 with a 92.00% passing rate.
