The College of Management, UP Visayas, conducted a Research Forum last March 29, 2023. The event with the theme “Evolving Landscapes of Management Research” served as a venue for the faculty members to present their recently completed research endeavors. The forum was held at the CM Building, UPV Iloilo City campus, and was attended by members of the faculty, staff, and students of the College.

Prof. Christopher B. Honorario, Dean of the College of Management, welcomed the participants. In his opening message, the Dean stressed the importance of management research in light of technological advancements, public policy development, and changes in the international environment. He also underscored the College’s commitment to support all research efforts of the faculty, staff, and students, and expressed hopes that activities like this would increase the competencies of the faculty and staff and inspire them to further engage in research, present, and publish.

The first of the three lectures was a Roberto Benedicto Professorial Chair Lecture titled “Going cashless: The role of perceived health risk and perceived trust in the continuance intention to use mobile wallet” by Prof. Duvince Zhalimar J.
