Atty. Lex Colada, an alumnus of the UP High School in Iloilo and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Community Development graduate of UP Visayas, will be representing AAMBIS-OWA party-list in the House of Representatives, having been elected on the May 9, 2022, elections.
Colada has a Bachelor of Laws degree from Lyceum University. He was the President of the ILECO 1 Board of Directors from 2010 to 2017. ILECO 1 was declared the Most Outstanding Electric Cooperative of the Philippines from 2012 to 2016 with him at the helm. Colada is also a farmer and game fowl breeder.
The AAMBIS-Owa (Ang Asosasyon Sang Mangunguma Nga Bisaya-Owa Mangunguma, Inc.) party-list aims to represent the interest of Filipino farmers in congress.
Colada will replace Deputy Speaker Sharon Garin, who is also an alumna of UPV. She will be completing her three-year term this end of June.
The winning party-list groups will assume office on June 30, 2022 at 12 noon.
