The University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with SM City Iloilo on December 4, 2023 at the SM City Activity Area.
The MOA between UPV and SM City is a collaboration that will immerse students in the process of recruitment and job placement, on-the-job (OJT) programs, and learning sessions.
“When we train our students we are actually training them not just for the jobs that exist now but for the jobs of the future. And we cannot do this without partnerships,” said Chancellor Clement Camposano during the MOA signing. Chancellor Camposano also mentioned that he is grateful to SM City for this collaboration.
Joining Camposano during the event were UPV Office of Student Affairs (OSA) Director Prof. Agustin G. Huyong, HR Manager of SM City Iloilo Irene L. Caumban, and Mall Manager of SM City Iloilo Engr. Gilbert A. Domingo.
