The UP Visayas Graduate School held an orientation for the Doctor of Philosophy in Music program on April 10, which was attended by 14 interested student applicants. The PhD in Music, to be taught by professors from the UP College of Music, Diliman, will begin this coming SY 2023-2024.
The orientation was facilitated by Prof. Christine Muyco from the UP College of Music.
Known as the first PhD in Music to be offered in Iloilo, the College of Music is currently accepting online applications, which began last March 1. Submission of applications will only be until June 30, 2023.
The online diagnostic examination will be on July 8, 2023, Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 12 noon and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Meanwhile, the online panel interview is scheduled on July 12, 2023, Wednesday.
