The Security Service Force (SSF) of the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) recently attended an operations review at the Miagao campus organized by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Administration (OVCA) to improve SSF’s delivery of services.
As part of the workshop, SSF personnel had to revisit their mandate, mission, and vision and identify their strengths and weaknesses to improve their operations and establish ways forward.
In attendance during the Operations Review were Budget Office Chief Arlene N. Avanceña; Human Resources Development Office Chief Ella O. Tidon; Dr. Cherry P. Añasco, Asst. to the Vice Chancellor for Administration and Dr. Farisal Ungkakay-Bagsit, Vice Chancellor for Administration.
The SSF is the second office under the OVCA to undergo the said workshop this year. The first was the Campus Development and Maintenance Office (CDMO).
