The Division of Professional Education held a meet and greet to welcome the graduate students enrolled in the various program offerings of the division for AY 2022-2023. The simple reception was held on September 17, 2022, at 1:30 PM, following the Graduate Program Orientation in the morning.
The activity was attended by the faculty of the division that started with the UPV video presentation, topic outline, the faculty lineup, and introduction of the faculty members present.
Brewed coffee, homemade cookies, and pastries were passed around throughout the meet. The faculty expressed their wishes for the graduate students to succeed in their studies. They also gave the students tips on how to earn their UP degree. They likewise gave advice on how to eventually wear the coveted Sablay, the symbol of their hard work and diligence.
This was the first time that a reception was held by the division. It was initiated by its Chair, Prof. Pepito R. Fernandez, Jr. It was agreed that the meet and greet will now become a tradition or a regular activity of ProfEd.
