Ms. Teresa Hortillo, member of the UPV Healthy Lifestyle and Wellness Committee (UPV WellComm) led in the conduct of an echo-orientation for her fellow Guidance Specialists at the Office of Student Affairs, several nurses of the Health and Services Office as well other members of UPV WellCom. The echo orientation was held on April 10, 2018 at the Administration Building Conference Room, Miagao campus.

The University Library of the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) spearheaded the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for a consortium with three (3) universities in Roxas City, Capiz. These universities included Capiz State University (CSU), Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion (CPC), and Filamer Christian University (FCU). The signing of the MOA was held on April 2-3, 2018.
The MOA, also referred as inter-institutional consortium of libraries, is an agreement entered into by the libraries of member institutions to allow resource sharing. The sharing refers to but not limited to reciprocal sharing of library resources and inter-loan, as well as to facilitate provision of services.
Hardwork, perseverance and discipline. These are the very qualities that the UPHSI DanceSport Team will be bringing with them together with the hope of garnering medals in the 2018 Palarong Pambansa DanceSport Competition in Vigan, Ilocos Sur on April 15-21, 2018.
In celebration of the 2018 National Women’s Month, the UP Visayas’ Gender and Development Program in cooperation with Ugsad Regional Gender Resource Center spearheaded various activities in line with the Philippine Commission on Women’s theme “We Make Change Work for Women”.
