The Human Resource Development Office (HRDO) of the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) held an orientation for newly hired non-teaching personnel from February 19–20, 2025, at the Miagao Interactive Learning Center (MILC), Tomas Fonacier Hall, UPV, Miagao, Iloilo.

After a five-year hiatus, the University of the Philippines High School in Iloilo (UPHSI) student journalists marked their come back to the 2025 Iloilo City Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) as they won multiple awards in both individual and group categories held last February 8 and 15 at the Diamond Jubilee Hall, Iloilo City.

With the 2025 Midterm Elections coming closer with each passing day, it becomes more important than ever for Filipino citizens to choose their candidates wisely. However, in the digital age, misinformation runs rampant, especially in politics and information about candidates. There is an increasing demand to ensure that the information one consumes is true. Gen Z and millennials make up 63% of the voting population for the coming year, highlighting the extent of the potential impact these two generations may have in shaping the political landscape of the Philippines.

In response to the dynamic needs of students especially in online modality, the UPV LMS integrated key tools that enable teachers to directly embed resources from the Journal of Visualized Expirements (JoVE) directly to the UPV Learning Management System through JoVE’s Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI).
