The Committee for the Search for the Next CFOS Dean announces the Call for Nominations for the Next Dean of the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences

Gianne Paulo D. Muñoz will lead the 2024 graduating class of the College of Management as the top student with the highest GWA of 1.35, earning magna cum laude honors in the BS Management program.

Delight Marie Encontro is graduating magna cum laude in the BS in Management program of the College of Management (CM). She leads the rest of the latin honor awardees from her college, having gotten the highest GWA.

Keryll Bastien Sison is the top graduate of the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences (CFOS) after earning a weighted average grade (WAG) of 1.30967.  

Julie Ann Claire N. Nique earned the distinction of graduating at the top of CFOS Class of 2023 with the highest GWA of 1.2886, magna cum laude.

Kaylen Yvon K. Jalandoni will march the stage, waving the banner high as one with the highest GWA at the School of Technology of 1.38636. She will graduate with a degree in BS Chemical Engineering.

Hyke J. Maybay, a BS in Applied Mathematics student of the Division of Physical Sciences and Mathematics, College of Arts and Sciences, emerges as the top student of Class 2024 with a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 1.07978, awarding him the honor of finishing as summa cum laude.

“UP has given me the academic credentials that I need to pursue a career in chemical engineering. But more importantly, it has taught me life skills to prepare me for life after college. Foremost among them is emotional intelligence; being able to sympathize with other people as well as put yourself in their shoes,” says Evan P. Garganera, the School of Technology’s top graduate, earning a GWA 1.25517, magna cum laude, the highest among his peers.
