The University of the Philippines Visayas Museum of Art and Cultural Heritage (MACH) and Lopez Museum and Library (LML) collaboration project Cycle 1 will finally push through. This is following the project’s budget of 7.5 million pesos was included in the General Appropriations Act (GAA) FY 2024.
The University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) will host the Island and Coastal Ecologies Workshop: A Sustainable Futures Initiative from 17-21 January 2023 in the Miagao campus. The workshop is designed to assemble various scholars and members of the community to look into emerging issues concerning environmental dynamics within local coastal ecosystems and develop programs for sustainable futures.
The UPV University Library joined the Division Partnership Engagement and Culminating Activity for the 33rd Library and Information Services Month and 2023 National Book and Reading Month at CityMall Passi Activity Area, Passi City, at the end of 2023. Ms. Analiza Galang-Linaugo, UPV University Librarian, together with Ms. Elsa Surmieda, the College Librarian of CFOS Library, and two other library staff attended the event.
