In conjunction with the global celebration of the Women’s Month, the Grade 12 students coming from the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand of the University of the Philippines High School in Iloilo (UPHSI) conducted an event titled “Malakas Ka, Maganda: A Poem-Reading Event in Celebration of the 2023 Women’s Month.”
The University of the Philippines Visayas Gender and Development Program (UPV-GDP) and the Ugsad Regional Gender Resource Center Western Visayas opened the Women’s Month Bazaar at the Administration Building grounds, UPV Miagao campus, on March 20, as part of the series of activities for this year’s Women’s Month celebration.
A Training-Workshop on Scientific Brief Writing was conducted by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension (OVCRE) last March 16, 2023 with Ms. Jessica Dator-Bercilla as the resource speaker. It was participated by 20 faculty-researchers and REPS from different institutes and colleges of UP Visayas, who are conducting in-house and externally-funded research projects. The workshop aimed to equip researchers with skills to effectively translate their project’s significant findings and/or developed technologies into a science brief.
