The UP Visayas Cultural Mapping of Antique (CMA) team conducted a two-day activity titled "Antique's Rootedness: A Training Workshop on Mapping the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Province" last August 22-23, 2023 at Eagle's Hotel in San Jose de Buenavista, Antique.
Asst. Prof. Jonevee Amparo, Coordinator of the UPV Sentro ng Wikang Filipino, and Asst. Prof. Jose R. Taton, Jr., faculty of the U.P. High School in Iloilo, served as resource speakers for the training titled, "Magdodokumento ng Enaeta na Lengwahe at Serkansas," last July 26-28, 2023.
In pursuit of mental health awareness and well-being, two UP Visayas students were triumphant in clinching a Php 100,000 grant for their policy initiative, Project Huna-Una, jointly awarded by YouthLed PH, The Asia Foundation, USAID, and the Gerry Roxas Foundation.
