The University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV), through its Capacity Building, Policy Review, and Innovative Legislation Toward Coastline Protection and Development for a Sustainable Future or the Coastal Protection and Development (CPD) Program, held a national stakeholders’ dialogue to present and discuss the draft legislation on the Philippine Coastal Protection Act.
The 19 Master of Management-Public Management (MMPM) students of the College of Management and Graduate School enhanced the capability of the 29 Punong Barangays and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairpersons of the Municipality of Leganes, Iloilo in effective written communication, project management, and utilization of the Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (LGSF-FA). The training-workshop was held on August 16, 2024 at the Session Hall of the Sangguniang Bayan of Leganes. Dr. Vicente “Jun-Jun” Jaen II, the Municipal Mayor, gave a message after Mr. Jason Vincent Caldeo, his Executive Assistant, welcomed the participants.

(PLAE) is partnering with the UPV College of Management, University of the Philippines Visayas in celebration of the 23rd National Epilepsy Awareness Week this September 1-4, 2024 with the theme "One Nation for Epilepsy." This event is also in partnership with the Iloilo Provincial Government, Iloilo City Government, Western Visayas Medical Center, WVMC Department of Neurosciences, IGAP PH, and UPV Marketing Society, Inc. as the official marketing arm of O.N.E. for Juan Project.
