The University of the Philippines Visayas organized the September Affair and recognized UPV donors at the UPV Little Theater on September 27, 2023.
Reminiscent of the September Affair, which was originally organized by the Senior Council of the Lower and Upper Divisions Classes back in the 60s, the activity was a much anticipated event by students at that time. Prof. Melanie Padilla, member of the Class 1965, talked about how the September Affair was celebrated and how it had entertained the constituents in those years it was being held. This year, the high school and college students participated in the dance and jived with the members of the faculty, staff and alumni.
UPV donors were also recognized as an expression of gratefulness for their heartfelt generosity and unwavering support to UPVs endeavors. Certificates of appreciation were handed over to many of the alumni and even those from the University, who have shared donations and support to the various programs and projects of UP Visayas.
