UPV officials meet with Dean Vistan of UP Diliman College of Law to prepare for next AY

Chancellor Clement C. Camposano and VCAA Philip Ian P. Padilla met with Dean Edgardo Carlo Vistan II of UP Diliman College of Law yesterday, 18 May 2022, to discuss preparations for the limited face-to-face classes of the UPD College of Law extension classes here for AY 2022-2023.

Among the key points discussed during the meeting were the necessary physical arrangements, classroom assignments, internet connectivity, learning hubs, and the appointment of Atty. Andre Palacios as coordinator for the extension classes and proposal for Atty. Nellie Jo Regalado as the deputy coordinator.

The UP Law extension program in UPV started in September 2021 under the leadership of UP President Danilo Concepcion and with the full support of Dean Vistan and Chancellor Camposano. The launch of the UP Law extension program in UPV coincides with the 75th anniversary of UP’s presence in Iloilo.

UP Law offers the 4-year Juris Doctor program to full-time students and the 5-year program for students with full-time employment at the UP campuses in Diliman, Quezon City, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, and Iloilo City since September 2021.

Also present during the meeting with Dean Vistan, who was visiting UPV for the first time, was the College of Management Dean, Atty. Christopher Honorario. Dean Honorario was also part of the technical working group for the extension classes in UPV.
