The 2024 PANAnaw Awards is an annual case competition organized by the Philippine Associations of National Advertisers Foundation (PANAF). Top marketing students from schools throughout the country compete in the conceptualization, design, and presentation of a full-blown brand communications strategy that translates the theories learned in school into an actual marketing campaign.
This year’s challenge, in collaboration with the Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC), revolves around the theme “Innovative Approaches to Resolving the Philippine Energy Trilemma.”
The UPV CM team for the PANAnaw Awards 2024 was composed of seven BSBA Marketing students: Van Hyacinth S. Rondubio, team leader (4th year), Pearl Jham M. Arroyo, co-leader (4th year), Nick Al Francis L. Bunda (4th year), Mary Francine B. Juanillo (4th year), Ma. Jeozel Dawn G. Subaldo (4th Year), Carmela C. Javellana (3rd Year), and Mark Gabriel D. Militante (3rd Year).
The team showcased their communications plan, “PINASinag: From Powering Homes to Empowering the Nation,” during the live finals held on November 22, 2024, at The Elements at Centris, Quezon City. Twenty-two schools nationwide participated in the competition, and only the top five advanced to the grand finals.
Their participation was guided by the expertise and support of advisers Ms. Pearl Gladys O. Diano and Mr. Oscar S. Jinon Jr.
Hailed as one of the most prestigious brand communications competitions for students, the PANAnaw attracts the county’s brightest young marketers and is mainly geared toward the professional advancement of future marketing practitioners.
