The University of the Philippines High School in Iloilo (UPHSI) Senior Red Cross Youth Council was recently awarded a certification of recognition by the Red Cross Youth Philippines - Iloilo Chapter Awards for its exceptional service in recent events, specifically the UPV Pahampang and Yupisay Games 2023. UPHSI also received a Certificate of Responder Excellence.
The awards were given to Ms. Angel Conte, UPHSI Senior Red Cross Youth Council President, and Ms.Eleanor Alvarez-Artajo, council adviser at the Philippine Red Cross - Iloilo Chapter, during a program last May 26, 2024.
The UPHSI Senior Red Cross Youth Council received its accreditation as an official council of the Red Cross Youth Philippines - Iloilo Chapter last October 2023.
