Leading international higher education directory and search engine uniRank has named the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) the top university in Western Visayas in its 2023 rankings. The ranking is based on the university’s web presence and popularity, measured through its estimated traffic, domain trust or authority, and quality link popularity.
Central Philippine University (CPU) ranks 2nd and is followed by West Visayas State University (WVSU) in the 3rd spot. Iloilo Science and Technology University ranks 4th, University of St. La Salle in Bacolod is 5th, John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University is 6th, Aklan State University is 7th, University of Negros Occidental - Recoletos is 8th, University of San Agustin is 9th, and University of Iloilo - PHINMA is 10th.
UPV’s national ranking is currently 34th.
