The University of the Philippines Visayas signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the City of Iloilo, to provide technical assistance for the institutionalization of the Iloilo City MICE Center (ICMC) and to assist ICMC in the recalibration of the MICE (Meetings, Incentive Travels, Conferences/ Conventions, Exhibitions/Events) work plan.
The MOA was signed by the UPV Chancellor, Dr. Clement C. Camposano, Hon. Mayor Jerry P. Treñas , Iloilo City MICE Center Director Salvador D. Sarabia, Jr., and College of Management Dean Christopher B. Honorario, at the Iloilo City Mayor’s Office on October 5, 2022.
The signing was witnessed by members of the UPV College of Management MICE Team, who will continue to provide technical advisory services to ICMC. The team is composed of Prof. Mary Rose G. Rebueno, Prof. Nathaniel G. Samson, Ms. Kezzie Lyn B. Hilado, and Ms. Mary Ann T. Sedero.
The agreement formalizes and enhances the ongoing collaborations between the UP Visayas and the Iloilo City MICE Center toward making Iloilo City a premier MICE destination.
