Team Building bags 1st place in the DOST-PNHRS national visual abstract poster competition

The team is composed of BS in Public Health graduates Danella Rose S. Ampunan, Kristel Mary Anne B. Chua, Lyelle Rowie Z. Galupar, Rezel Gabrielle N. Lalas, Martin Benedict S. Ramos, and Anne Gwyneth G. Traya.

Lyelle Rowie Z. Galupar represented the group during the competition, leading to the 1st place win in the national poster competition during the Philippine National Health Research System (DOST-PNHRS) Week Celebration held at Clark Marriott Hotel, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga. 

They won a cash prize of PhP 25,000 for their study titled “Telemedicine Situation and Patient Satisfaction in Miagao, Iloilo During the COVID-19 Pandemic (2020-2022): A Correlational Study.”

Prior to competing against seven other presenters at the national level, the team won at the regional level. Prof. Carl Bregente served as their adviser, while Dr. Adrienne Marrie S. Bugayong-Janagap served as the mentor in the creation of this poster.

CAS Dean Dr. Alice Joan G. Ferrer, who heads the Western Visayas delegation and serves as director of the Western Visayas Health Research and Development Consortium (WVHRDC), received the award along with Dr. Bugayong-Janagap on behalf of Team Building.
