Five College of Management students participate in the 2023 B&P Group of Companies’ Next Generation Leaders Summit

Five College of Management students participate in the 2023 B&P Group of Companies’ Next Generation Leaders Summit

After undergoing a competitive selection process with the B&P Group of Companies’ NGLS Program Team, five graduating students of the College of Management participated in this year’s intensive three-day Next Generation Leaders Summit (NGLS) held at the Multi-Purpose Hall of WV Towers, Mandurriao, Iloilo City. Jorom Adulacion (BS in Management), Viela Chan (BS in Management), Jobelle Angel Escasinas (BS in Accountancy), Diana Leigh Franco (BS in Management), and Jan Joan Ilio (BS in Management) were among the thirty students of this year’s NGLS cohort.

The highlight of the activity is a case presentation on the third day, where the team of Viela Chan won the “Best Group Presentation” for their digital solution to address employee engagement and burnout.

Students from different state colleges and universities in Panay Island and the province of Negros Occidental took part in interactive workshops and forums related to consumer goods distribution, warehousing and supply chain, and real estate. Industry professionals and the founders of the B&P Group were present to give talks to students. All of these are aimed to build the students’ leadership and interpersonal skills as they work in teams to tackle case studies in real estate sales and marketing, employee engagement, customer relationship management, and logistics and distribution.

Now on its eighth run, the NGLS was started in the year 2012 by the B&P Group of Companies, a Panay-based conglomerate with businesses in various industries. (Mary Ann Sedero) Five College of Management students participate in the 2023 B&P Group of Companies’ Next Generation Leaders Summit.
