The University of the Philippines Visayas College of Management (UPV CM) recognized its students during Pagpadungog 2024, held on December 2, 2024 at the UPV Auditorium, Iloilo City campus.
CM recognized its honorific scholars, including both University and College scholars.
Prof. Christopher B. Honorario, Dean of the College of Management; Asst. Prof. Kim Rommel E. Panaguiton, Chair of the Department of Accounting; and Prof. Rhea J. Subong-Espina, Director of the Digital Innovation Center and faculty member of CM, on behalf of Asst. Prof. Melanie R. Sartorio, led the distribution of certificates.
Atty. Red Gabriel W. Convocar, legal counsel of the National Irrigation Administration Region VI and an alumnus of the College of Management, was the guest speaker at the program, where he spoke about recognizing the challenges students face in order to achieve their hard-earned honors. He also offered some advice for the future members of the workforce.
Meanwhile, Mary Thel Andre T. Teruel, a fourth-year BSBA (Marketing) student, gave a response on behalf of the honorific scholars. She shared her experience as a student of the University and mentioned three lessons: grab opportunities, have faith and welcome miracles, and celebrate yourself.
