Purple clothes, purple banners, purple streets. The roads of Miagao Iloilo were riddled in swathes of purple color last March 24 in a parade titled, Purple Parade: Lakad Para sa Kababaihan in celebration of Women’s Month. 

Ten computer sets will be turned over as donations to the UP Visayas Teaching and Learning Resource Center (TLRC) tomorrow, 31 March 2023. The donation from the UP Alumni Association (UPAA) and Upsilon Sigma Phi Alumni Association will be officially turned over in a simple gathering to be held at the OICA Conference Room, Iloilo City campus. 

The University of the Philippines Visayas Gender and Development Program (UPV-GDP) and the Ugsad Regional Gender Resource Network Western Visayas held the Gender Research Colloquium to present the plight of women based on the research of academe members, at the Little Theater, UPV Iloilo City campus on March 29. 

A sea of colors and excitement filled the streets of UP Visayas as the UPV School of Technology (SoTech) celebrates its 37th Foundation Week face-to-face for the first time in three years. 

Student Regent Siegfred Severino, the 39th Student Regent of the University of the Philippines (UP), attended the SumagUPa: OSR UP Visayas Student Summit 2023 at the UP Visayas Iloilo City and Miagao campuses to meet and engage with students on March 22-23. 

The University of the Philippines Visayas School of Technology (UPV SOTECH) 37th Foundation Celebration is now in full swing after its opening program held at the New SOTECH Building grounds on March 27.
