University Extension Specialist I

Position: University Extension Specialist I, SG-16 (UP Contractual)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
• 4 hours of relevant training
• 1 year of relevant experience
• Career Service (Professional)/2nd Level Eligibility 

 Preferred Competencies:

1. Preferably with Master’s Degree in Developmental Communication, Management, Public Governance, or similar courses
2. With relevant experience in conducting trainings/academe experience
3. Computer literate with excellent skills in Microsoft Office or similar applications
4. Character/Interpersonal skills: Possess ability to build positive interactions with different
   stakeholders, effective team player, and with strong communication skills
5. Experience/Training in Quality Management System preferably in ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC
   17025:2017

Job Summary: 

In charge of organizing trainings to be conducted related to activities of the RRC and assist the RRC management if establishing linkages with stakeholders. 

Job Description:

• Facilitate the training activities such as Short-course trainings, Equipment-use trainings, in-house seminars, Summer internship Programs and other similar activities of the RRC.
• Prepare modules for training participants based on inputs of the lecturer
• Coordinate and assist RRC staff and other persons that will serve as resource speakers or trainers
• Perform administrative duties related to the conduct and operation of the RRC
• Establish linkages, disseminate information, and furnish invitations to potential training recipients
• Submit proposals for funding of training activities
• Perform other related duties as required by the immediate supervisor
