Please be informed that due to the nature of utilization of UPV Funds, procurement charged against these funds are required to be disbursed within the year of allocation.
As such, the SPSO in conjunction with the Budget & Accounting Offices will set a procurement moratorium to allow sufficient time to complete all procurement processes and activities to maximize the utilization of UPV Funds.
During the moratorium. SPSO will no longer process purchase and job order re quests. We encourage every requesting unit to submit their purchase and job order requests before the following deadlines:
- October 10, 2022 – for PR/JOR obligated by Budget Office;
- November 15, 2022 – PR/JOR for externally funded projects
Purchase Request/Job Order Request received beyond the specified dates should be procured/processed on January 2023 when the moratorium is lifted.
