A group of faculty members and researchers from UP Visayas were in Yeosu, South Korea on April 30 – May 4, 2013, to present papers in the 10th Asian Fisheries and Aquaculture Forum, simultaneously held with the 4th Symposium on Cage Aquaculture in Asia and the 4th Global Symposium on Gender in Aquaculture and Fisheries.

Ms. Leonor Gobuan-Dojoles, an alumna of the School of Technology (SoTech), UP Visayas spoke before the graduating honorific scholars and special awardees during the Papuri, a recognition program held on April 25, 2013 at the UPV Auditorium, Iloilo City campus. She told them to never quit, have plan, work hard and pray for a little luck.
