Amar presents paper at AQUA 2018 in France
Dr. Mary Jane Amar of the Institute of Aquaculture, College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences (CFOS), UP Visayas (UPV) presented a paper at the World Aquaculture Society (AQUA 2018) meeting on August 25-29, 2018 at Montpellier, France.
Amar, University Researcher and Scientist I, presented a paper entitled "Endogenous probionts improve survival and immunity in Black Tiger Shrimp Penaeus monodon." This was presented under the Antimicrobials, Prebiotics, and Probiotics conference session.
A global aquaculture event with participants coming from more than 60 countries, AQUA 2018 highlighted the latest researches and innovations in aquaculture, one of the most important food production industries in the world.
Held every six years, AQUA 2018 covered all aspects of global aquaculture through the conduct of the scientific conference, trade exhibition, industry forums, workshops, student events, and receptions. It is co-organized by the European Aquaculture Society (EAS) and the World Aquaculture Society (WAS).
AQUA 2018 was previously held in Prague (2012), Florence (2006) and Nice (2000).
