UP ITDC Advisory: Zoom Storage for Recordings

Announcements

To UP Users:

Please be informed that the cloud storage capacity of our current Zoom subscription has reached its maximum limit as heavy use of our Zoom platform has been recorded, system-wide.

In view of this, video records of Zoom meetings are set to auto-delete after 30-days and there is a risk that meeting records will no longer be accommodated in our Zoom cloud storage. All Zoom users are therefore advised to enable local recordings of their Zoom meetings (i.e. using your laptop or desktop PC). Users can also download your meeting video records and store it on their respective Google Drives. These video records can then be shared with all meeting attendees.

Moreover, your Zoom account can also be integrated with our UP Google Drive. This will allow your meeting video records to be stored automatically on your UP Google Drive. Please open your browser and go to https://up-edu.zoom.us and setup the UP Google Drive integration using your UP Google account. Please refer to the User Guides found below.

For your kind information and guidance.
