The University of the Philippines Visayas CAS COP-BIDANI continues to strengthen its work in research, capacity building, and community-centered development initiatives through its collaboration with West Visayas State University College of Communication. Building on this partnership, UPV CAS COP-BIDANI welcomed third-year Development Communication students for its eight-week midyear internship program. As the internship center, it aims to provide experiential learning opportunities for students to enhance their competencies in participatory action research, community engagement, and development communication practices.
As the collaboration grows, both institutions remain steadfast in their commitment to cultivating future DevCom practitioners and action researchers who are ready to bridge theory and practice, work with communities, and push forward people-centered approaches to development.
