The University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) and the Western Visayas Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium (WESVARRDEC) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on January 27, 2026, at the Conference Room of the Office of Initiatives in Culture and Arts (OICA), UP Visayas Iloilo City campus.
The MOA was signed by Dr. Clement C. Camposano, UPV Chancellor, and Dr. Pastor Jones T. Denusta, WESVARRDEC Consortium Director, and witnessed by Asst. Prof. Rhea J. Subong-Espina, RAISE Project 15 Project Leader, and Dr. Nikie Joe E. Deocampo, WESVARRDEC ICT Cluster Coordinator.
The ceremonial signing of the MOA formalized the adoption and institutionalization of the Knowledge Management System (KMS) under Project 15: Regional Knowledge Management (KM) Hub of the RAISE Program in Western Visayas (Phase 2).
